I am visual artist and musician from New York City I was born in Brooklyn, New York. At a young age my family moved to the Bronx where I was raised by my mother and grandmother. Growing up in the South Bronx wasn’t easy. I didn’t have the resources I needed or any formal art training, but that never stop me from pursuing my passion for art. Instead it helped me to view life in a different perspective. It motivated me to be more focused and determined to learn.

I believe art is truly a gift from God. It is my momentary escape from reality regardless of how it’s viewed or perceived. It is a sincere expression of raw emotions translated into colors, images, motion and sound.

My work is a journey and surrender with known and unexplained emotions. Using contradictory symbols that are personal and multi-layered, an image can simultaneously represent what I am questioning and what I have answered. As I move through my day, I am keenly aware of my encounters with people, places and things. I mentally record the details of these situations, and the physical or emotional responses that they evoke. These fleeting associations replay themselves in my mind. The random moments combine to form stories that are rich narratives, ripe with symbolism.
